Immersed in the Impressionist Landscape
The day unfolds through the beautiful countryside of the Vexin Français, travelling along quiet country roads, through picturesque villages and rolling landscapes that have retained much of the character that attracted the Impressionist painters.
Rather than simply visiting Giverny, we invite our clients to experience the landscape at a slower pace, taking time to observe the changing light, colours and reflections that define this part of Normandy.
Depending on the season and interests of our guests, we may arrange a delightful picnic in the countryside, an informal introduction to landscape painting with a local artist, or a gentle canoe excursion along the Seine, offering a completely different perspective on the landscape.
The journey may also take us to Vétheuil, where Claude Monet lived and painted, allowing us to connect the places he knew with the landscapes that inspired his work.
A day designed to experience the Vexin as the Impressionists did — through light, colour, water and the simple pleasure of being immersed in the landscape.
